Each coaching or counselling session is typically 60 minutes, be it the individual, couples or group session. Workshops and courses are 45 minute sessions depending on topics addressed.

GAARRD offers packages for both individual and couples counselling sessions. Each package consists of 4 or more sessions,even a year in advance.

After you purchase the sessions, the coach/therapist will reach out to you by email.Please do check your junk folder as well to make sure you have received this.

Each package purchased has a validity of 12 months upon the date of your purchase.

Important Terms

Please take note of the following terms and conditions for using our platform.

Booking confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation for the session once you have made the payment. Please do check your junk folder as well to make sure you have received this.

Emergency contact details: Prior to the first session, we would require all clients to provide a phone number for their emergency contact person. We request the contact details of someone you trust and feel safe with. The emergency contact person will be contacted only in the event that your safety is at risk.

Late attendance: If you are late for your session by more than 20 minutes, this will be considered to be a non-refundable, no-show cancellation on your part.Thanks for your understanding.

To book a session, please first fill in the forms on our platform.Go to the pages "Get started" & "Help form" in our sidebar. You will get an email from us in no less than 24 hours guiding you with next steps.

Another way of booking a session is contacting us by email " info@gaarrd.com", letting us know how we can help you? Please be specific so we can be of better help.

You can also scan our QR at the end of this page . Once you scan & go to our booking schedule at "https://carriegk.setmore.com", choose from our Mental Health Services list, workshops and courses, your best fit and click "Book". You will be able to view all our Services lists. Suggestion : also check the "INFO" sessions.

Once you have selected a session with your preference , click "Book session". You will be directed to our payment page.We accept Visa & Master-cards , PayPal and bank transfers and Western Union too.

Once payment is made, a booking confirmation email will be sent to you (please check your Junk/Spam folder as well). On your Email, you will also be able to see the session you have booked in your email inbox under "Upcoming GAARRD Appointments".

Re-scheduling & Cancellation policy: Once the booking is done, we regret to advise that we do not accept any rescheduling requests or cancellations within 24 hours as our coach/therapist has blocked out their time for sessions. Any payments made towards such appointments will be non-refundable.

For cancellations of appointments made more than 24 hours prior to the session, an administrative charge of U$20 will be charged per session to cover the transaction and administrative fees.Thank you for understanding.

A booking confirmation email is sent immediately after you've made a payment to secure your session. For online appointments, we will send a Zoom link separately one days prior to your session.

Do check your junk or spam folder if the emails do not arrive in your inbox in the specified time frames. If they did go to your junk folder, please mark them as "not junk" or add our email address to your safe senders list, so that you don't miss any important emails from us.

At times, there may be a system delay and booking confirmation emails are not sent immediately. You may wish to check your inbox again a few hours later to see if your booking has gone through.

The cost of sessions vary depending on the type. Coaching , Counselling or Therapy through GAARRD ranges per week each session are based on your preferences of our Mental Health list of services. Even Workshops and Courses.You can cancel 24 hours in advance at any time, for any reason, otherwise fees may apply.

You have a video session with your coach/therapist where you see each other and talk with each other in a virtual face-to-face setting (similar to Zoom or Face-Time).

To talk with your coach/therapist via zoom video, you will need to download the FREE Zoom app and  need to schedule a time (BOOK 1:1) with your coach/therapist and log in at that time. Your coach/therapist will then prompt you to start the video session. After you confirm, you will immediately begin video chatting with your coach/therapist.Until your next session.

Coach/therapist/Counselor successfully completes the necessary education, exams, training, practice, and ongoing supervision requirements as required by the law.
Generally, the coach/therapist will keep what you tell them confidential, but there are limited exceptions. For example, if you threaten grave harm to yourself or to an identifiable victim the coach/therapist may be required to report this information to relevant authorities. Coaches/Therapists can also be subject to ongoing professional supervision, as required. Before starting sessions, please discuss with your coach/therapist their obligations to confidentiality if you have any concerns or questions. You will need to sign a confidentiality form before any treatment.

• All the messages between you and your coach/therapist are secured and encrypted by banking-grade 256-bit encryption.
• Our servers are distributed across multiple Tier 4- AWS Data Centers for optimal security and protection.
• Our Platform is HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year (r2) Certified.
• Our browsing encryption system (SSL) follows modern best practices.
• Our databases are encrypted and scrambled so they essentially become useless in the unlikely event that they are stolen or compromised.
• We don't work with any insurance companies so nothing needs to be shared, reported or filed with them.

If you wish for any of your information or records to be released to a third party, please let your coach/therapist know so that they can facilitate the release.
